The PSCCN College Transition Checklists are a product of feedback from regional high school and postsecondary educators, staff, and students, and were developed with the support of college access and high school interns working with PSCCN throughout 2017 and 2018.
PSCCN College Transition Checklists are intended to be a resource for educators working with transitioning high school seniors. The goal of the checklists is to provide high school students with important information about financial, logistical, and administrative steps in the transition to postsecondary so they are better prepared to navigate and make informed decisions during the transition process.
PSCCN encourages educators to utilize the checklists in conjunction with facilitated readiness and transition programming or advising and resources such as the College Knowledge materials, which include a glossary of college and career readiness and transition terms also seen in the PSCCN College Transition Checklists.
