The Second Round Application for the 2018-19 PSCCN Postsecondary Transition & Financial Aid Mini-Grant is Open!
(Apply by September 27, 2018)
Road Map Region and Pierce County education partners: apply to receive funds to implement innovative strategies to improve regional student outcomes around postsecondary readiness, enrollment, and persistence in King and Pierce Counties during the 2018-19 school year.
During the 2017-18 school year, PSCCN awarded mini-grants to King and Pierce County schools/districts, colleges, and organizations to address and increase financial aid education and completion among their students and families. For the 2018-19 school year, based on your feedback, we are expanding the grant to include postsecondary transition activities (those intended to support high school students to learn about and complete steps necessary for the transition to postsecondary education and training, including and especially financial aid).
The first round application was open from May until August. We have opened a second round of applications to award remaining funds. The second round application will be open until September 27. Please note there are two applications: one for Pierce County serving schools, districts, and organizations and one for Road Map Region serving schools, districts, and organizations. If you are an entity serving high school students in both areas, please contact PSCCN (at firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information about which application you should use. Please review eligibility, award amount, timeline, and selection criteria carefully.
