Below are two family-facing presentations, along with a facilitator guide to use with families at your school or organization. The “Preparing for Life After High School” PowerPoint presentation is designed to be used for 7th– to 10th-grade families and we recommend you repeat it each year. The second PowerPoint presentation is designed for families of 11th and 12th grade students. We suggest providing this once in the spring of 11th grade and once very early in 12th grade.

Also below, you will find family letters with early information about financial aid (appropriate at the beginning of 9th grader), and then more details about what to do as 12th grade approaches (appropriate for spring of 11th grade and beginning of 12th grade). The content of the letters can be used as actual letters that are sent home, as well as emails and phone scripts.
